Being First-Generation doesn’t end after graduation. After earning your degree, you can continue your impact at UT Dallas by joining the Support Network to support first-generation students. You can also contribute to first-generation student programming by donating to UT Dallas First-Generation Student Programs. Your gift will be used to defray costs associated with programming, such as the annual National First-Generation Celebration Day event.

As an alum, you know as well as anyone how important completing your degree is and what it means to your family. UT Dallas continues to graduate hundreds of first-generation students each academic year. We invite you to offer words of encouragement to graduates. If you’d like, you can also provide video messages. Thank you for taking part in this special project!
